Example Slide Show

One of the many things you can have on a website is slideshow using JavaScript.  This script by Patrick Fitzgerald is easy to implement.  It works so well, there's no point in reinventing the wheel and writing a new script from scratch!  Some of these pictures are pretty old as I've been digitizing my old pictures before the negatives die of old age.  There are also more recent pictures taken with high quality digital cameras.

When properly set up, this presentation is suitable even for dial up users.  While the viewer is looking at the current slide, the next slide is downloading from the website in the back ground.

At the bottom of the slideshow are buttons for manual operation for check boxes for the user to change the slideshow repetition rate.  All these things are optional they are not required to be present.
