Website Visitors?

Who will your website visitors be?  Identify your target audience and what you'll need to explain to them to be successful!

Your website will have a target audience that you'll want to reach out to.  You may know everything there is to know about a subject but does your audience?  What seems obvious to you may not be obvious to someone else.

If you're trying to introduce a subject what will your website visitors need to know?  Put yourself in their shoes and decide where you'll need to start for them to know what you want them to know.

If you have trouble deciding what your website visitors will need to know, talk with someone who doesn't already know what you are trying to impart and see how much explaining you have to do to get them to the knowledge level they need to have.

If you are an engineer trying to acquaint the general public with a new concept, you probably don't want to create an online engineering course.  You will need to provide your website visitors with preliminary information they will need to understand your concept.

If you have a new product for engineers, you wont need to give them an engineering education.  You will need to inform them of the benefits or your product.
