Website Size?

How many pages do you plan for your website?   How much do you expect your website to grow in the near future?   This should be taken into account in your website design.  If you're starting small and planning to grow large, consider having a template for your website in the beginning.  A slightly larger development cost now will pay future dividends.

A website can be simple with a single page or have hundreds of pages.  There are no hard and fast rules about how large a website should be and few limits on how large it can be.

How much of the content will be photographs (along with other graphics) and how much will be text.  Graphics and pictures take up more space than text.

How large the website is will determine the amount of server space you'll need and how the design will be laid out behind the scenes.

The good news is that as hosting cost continues to come down it's economical to start with a larger web space that you can grow into.
